PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY
BrandLift is an AI-powered digital marketing, web development, creative production, branding, media, technology, and digital services company. This policy establishes professional standards, responsibilities, intellectual-property rules, confidentiality requirements, AI-use standards, internship rules, employment expectations, and operational procedures for employees, interns, contractors, consultants, and other authorized personnel.
BRANDLIFT CORE PRINCIPLE
Work created for BrandLift, using BrandLift resources, systems, information, clients, opportunities, or direction, is created for BrandLift and must be treated as BrandLift property, subject to applicable law and the individual’s written agreement with the company.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the individual’s written employment or engagement agreement, intellectual property created specifically in connection with work for BrandLift belongs to BrandLift or its designated client, as applicable. This includes websites, software, source code, scripts, APIs, automation, AI workflows, prompts, marketing strategies, campaigns, designs, branding, videos, copywriting, SEO content, research, databases, templates, UI/UX, reports, proposals, SOPs, internal tools, and other deliverables created in connection with BrandLift work.
AI-GENERATED WORK
Where legally permissible, work generated or materially developed through AI tools as part of a BrandLift assignment must be treated as BrandLift work and incorporated into the relevant project and ownership arrangements. Employees remain responsible for reviewing accuracy, copyright, privacy, security, bias, factual claims, client requirements, and quality.
PRE-EXISTING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Genuine pre-existing intellectual property owned before joining BrandLift remains subject to the applicable prior ownership rights unless otherwise agreed in writing. Relevant pre-existing materials should be disclosed before being incorporated into BrandLift work.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All BrandLift information must be treated as confidential unless expressly authorized for disclosure. This includes client information, contracts, pricing, proposals, business strategies, financial information, passwords, API keys, databases, internal communications, AI prompts and workflows, source code, product roadmaps, research, proprietary methods, and trade secrets. Confidentiality obligations continue after employment or internship ends, subject to applicable law.
CLIENT CONFIDENTIALITY
Employees and interns must not share client files, send client information to personal accounts, upload confidential client information to unauthorized AI platforms, publish client work before approval, disclose private client information, or use client information for personal benefit.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE POLICY
BrandLift is an AI-first organization. Approved AI tools may be used to improve research, coding, design, copywriting, marketing, analysis, automation, customer support, and production. Confidential information must not be entered into an AI system unless that tool is approved for the information involved.
SOFTWARE, ACCOUNTS & DIGITAL ASSETS
Company-created or company-provided accounts, including email, AI platforms, hosting, domains, advertising platforms, social accounts, cloud storage, repositories, and analytics systems, are for authorized business purposes. Credentials must be protected and access must be surrendered when required.
SOCIAL MEDIA & PUBLIC REPRESENTATION
Only authorized personnel may publish official BrandLift announcements or represent the company publicly. Confidential information, unreleased campaigns, client information, and company work must not be published without authorization.
PORTFOLIO & PERSONAL USE
BrandLift or client work may only be displayed in a personal portfolio after appropriate authorization, considering client approval and confidentiality requirements.
